Useful Software

We find some programs useful in designing and building web sites and graphics. You may, too. If you have other suggestions, please let us know.

CorelDRAW ESSENTIALS	$79	CorelDRAW and PHOTO-PAINT are two of the most powerful graphics programs on the market. This package contains older versions of the programs but they are still excellent tools at an incredible price.
CorelDRAW Graphics Suite	$429	The latest & greatest from Corel. We have been using Corel since the mid 1980s and it has never let us down. Highly recommended.
Macromedia Studio MX	$899	The tightly integrated combination of Dreamweaver MX and Fireworks MX makes it possible to build simply incredible web sites.
Macromedia Contribute	$149	Contribute is designed for people who want to work on the content of their web sites while delegating responsibility for all the technical gunk to someone else. It works best if your main web designer uses Dreamweaver, as we do in our Co-Creative Processes.
NetObjects Fusion	$195.95	Fusion makes design and construction of complete web sites as close to easy as it gets. You still need to write the words (sorry 'bout that :-) but Fusion takes care of much of the rest. Highly recommended for people who don't want to invest the time and money in Dreamweaver.
SWiSHmax	$100	SWiSHmax is a great little program for creating FLASH animations.
PDG Shopping Cart	$399	We consider PDG Shopping Cart to be the best e-commerce building tool we have seen. (Not surprising, since we resell it.) There are lots of other shopping carts in the world but this one is very powerful and easy to customize so that your customers have a premium shopping experience.
Mozilla	Free	Great web browser and email client. It also includes a simple HTML editor, news client, and IRC chat client. A/k/a, Netscape. Perhaps best of all, it is not susceptible to Microsoft Outlook viruses and worms.
OpenOffice.org	Free	Awesome alternative to Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. For most people and businesses, this is everything you need and can save you $800.
